Pra+Ho

Praho draws its name from two of India's greatest scientific visionaries. Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis, the statistician and mathematician who pioneered the use of computing in India through the Indian Statistical Institute, and Dr. Homi Bhabha, the physicist and architect of India's scientific institutions who championed the country's first steps into the digital age.

Pra from Prasanta, Ho from Homi. Together, they form Praho, a quiet but deliberate homage to the spirit of Indian innovation that has always found a way forward despite limited resources and the sheer weight of odds stacked against it.

That spirit, curious and determined and unapologetically ambitious, is what Selligion carries into every device it builds. Praho is not just a name. It is a reminder that India has always had the minds to lead, and that the mission of putting a computer in every Indian hand is, in many ways, a continuation of a journey those two giants began decades ago.
